I AM GREEK BECAUSE I WAS BORN SO

Guided by the novelist Christos Chomenidis and his stories, one hundred and three (103) modern remarkable Athenians take part in a play based on Prometheus Bound, staged at the Herodus Atticus Theatre by the German Theatre Company Rimini Protokoll. They tell their stories and describe the diversified and unknown identity of Greek people through time (ancient symbols, their survival, descendants of the heroes of the War of Independence), as well as its current presence through the everyday “clashes” in Athens in 2011.
